Board of Independent Hospitals

The ALTHA Board of Independent Hospitals (BIH) consists of representatives from our independent hospital members and hospital companies. The board was formed to improve communication between ALTHA and its independent members as ALTHA's membership continues to grow. The group meets quarterly and conducts monthly conference calls to discuss ALTHA's current legislative strategy as well as share best practices. Kimberly Langston of Scott & White Continuing Care Hospital and Larry Oday of Vinson & Elkins LLP, who represents Scott & White in Washington, serve as the ALTHA BIH Co-Chairs. The Board of Independent Hospitals is open to ALTHA’s Independent Hospital Members only.
