Hospital Members

ALTHA is the Washington-based trade association of Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) hospitals, representing three-quarters of this healthcare provider community. ALTHA’s primary mission is to protect patient access to the unique care our hospitals provide. ALTHA also serves as an educational resource for clinicians and executives who serve in our member facilities. ALTHA works to continuously improve the quality of care by sharing and improving best practices among its hospital members.

As a member, you will have access to a vast array of resources and services that ALTHA provides to its members. ALTHA hosts two conferences throughout the year, including the National Clinical Conference and Leadership Outlook Meeting. ALTHA also provides educational teleconferences covering issues like RAC audits and appeals. ALTHA members receive access to the member’s only section of the website which provides a library of resources from legislative updates to analysis of regulatory updates.

ALTHA has a diverse group of hospital members representing the whole continuum of post-acute care. Hospital members include Kindred Healthcare (NYSE:KND), Select Medical Corporation (NYSE:SEM), LifeCare Hospitals, Promise Healthcare, Vibra Healthcare, LHC Group (NASDAQ:LHCG), and many others.
