Job Duties:	Vice President of Finance, Chief Financial Officer New England Sinai Hospital Stoughton, Massachusetts New England Sinai Hospital (the Hospital), an independent, long-term acute care facility, is looking for an experienced healthcare finance executive to fill the position of Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer (CFO). This role is responsible for the development, interpretation, coordination, and administration of the Hospital�??s policies for financial operations, and will participate in strategic and financial planning activities, ensuring their compatibility with the Hospital�??s capacity and performance objectives. Reporting directly to the President and Chief Executive Officer, the CFO will be an integral member of the senior management team of this highly regarded healthcare provider. Qualifications The ideal candidate will be both a strategic- and analytical-thinker, with strong communication and management skills. One key priority for the new CFO will be the evaluation of the division�??s staff, systems, and processes; instituting needed changes to develop a stronger consultative approach and implement best practices within the department. A minimum of 8 years of progressively responsible financial management experience within a hospital setting is necessary, with demonstrated competence in building and leading an effective and cohesive financial division. Past experience working with a Board of Directors desired. In addition to a bachelor�??s degree in accounting or finance, a master�??s degree in finance or business administration is required. The Organization The 212-bed hospital has provided expert medical care for more than 80 years. As the region�??s leading long-term acute care facility, the Hospital�??s strategic plan calls for the development of a post acute care network of affiliated entities in the future. The Hospital is a financially solid and benefits from a highly loyal, long-tenured, and non-union workforce. In addition to the main campus located 25 miles south of Boston, the Hospital operates a 30-bed satellite inpatient unit at Tufts Medical Center and a 25-bed unit at Caritas Carney, both in Metro-Boston. Location Located in the heart of eastern Massachusetts, Stoughton is just 30 minutes from Boston, Providence, Rhode Island, and beautiful Cape Cod. With a population of approximately 27,000, Stoughton is a very charming and tranquil town with access to five major highways and two airports.
